TeeGate, I was just told about this bridge last week by a friend. Did you build it?
Behr
Teegate didn't build it (a contractor named John actually did) but he took a lot of the photos that we have during it's construction.
If you build it, Guy will photograph. :)

I just realized I never added the photo of before the plastic bridge was built. Here it is in the gallery. Click on the picture for a large view of it, but you better have broadband.

I was just at the Plastic Bridge on Sunday. I had never been there before. The water was almost touching the bottom. Is that normal?

John the builder told us that they would control the level of the water at the dam at 206 at Atsion lake. This he said would insure that no damage would occur to it.
Here are some photo's from November of the water level of the bridge.

I'm glad to see the shortened links are working. :)
And the link is complete also.

Wow, it just goes to show how far behind the times I am. Today I stumbled across the plastic bridge completely by accident! I had been wondering exactly where it was after reading about it here in the past. But I never go all the way down that road because I never knew there was a plan to rebuild the bridge. But today for some reason I went straight instead of turning off at the campgrounds. Cool... :)

Boyd...did you see it before it was built? The old bridge burned and this is all that was there.

I have all the news text in my records but I am not sure if I should post them again because of the copyright. It may be in an old post in the Newspaper forum.

Yes, I had no idea there was a bridge there. The first time I saw the remains of the old bridge was maybe 1996 or 1997? I probably haven't been there for 3 or 4 years until today. It was one of those great Aha! moments :)
