Many, many, many people ask for the location of this place.

Henry Charlton Beck erroneously called this place the "Pasadena Terra Cotta Factory." Over the years this name has stuck, even though the place is really called the Brooksbrae Brick Company.

The factory is located midway between Bullock and Wheatland. Here's how you get there (it's a little tricky):

From Rt. 72
Drive down 72 until you pass under the JCRR overpass. Make a right onto Savoy Blvd. (If you're coming down 72 towards Barnegat, make a left right before the overpass.)

Go straight - it's a fairly long road. Eventually you'll come to a T intersection. Turn right and cross over the RR tracks. Keep going straight. You'll eventually pass the vilage of Bullock on your left. You're almost there! About a quarter mile up ahead on the right you will see white blazes on the trees. Do a quick U turn and park on the opposite side of the road. (You can see where many, many people have parked here before.) There will be a path into the woods - follow that over the RR tracks and into the woods. You should then see the factory ruins.

From Rt. 70
Take Rt. 70 to Rt 539. Make either a right or left onto 539 (depending on what way you come - you want to go on the side opposite the Wawa.) Follow 539 until you see McMahon Ave on your right. Turn right and follow that. It will eventually go around a bend and turn into Pasadena Rd. Follow Pasadena Rd. down for quite a while - you'll pass a cranberry bog on your left, some houses on either side, Buckingham Road, keep going straight!

You'll see some RR crossing signs and what appears to be a clearing on your right hand side. You're getting close. Keep going straight until you see the white blazes on the trees on the left hand side of the road. Park across from the blazes. There will be a path into the woods - follow that over the RR tracks and into the woods. You should then see the factory ruins.
