    Trashing the pines

Agreed entirely. I have some stupid friends, and the only way they'll stop being stupid is by threat of law enforcement. I go back there once every couple weeks and I've never run into anyone trashing the place or even having a fire. Usually I just see hikers or other young adults enjoying...

Cool thanks again! I'm glad I've found so many people here with such a strong interest in the Pines.

Rednek, thanks for the info. I went out there today and there was no way I'd miss that swimming hole! 46er and Boyd, how did you guys manage to get up close access to the ruins? I'm guessing you know park police that unlocked the gate for you?

Yeah that's the one. So what...when DeMarco owned the property it was open to the public? I know that people had been going back there for a while before they suddenly posted No Trespassing signs there last year or the year before. It's a shame too. That place was a great place to have a...

Hey guys, I just registered here and am overwhelmed with the amount of information available here and how tightly knit it seems this online community is. I'm 24, so I'm a relative youngster, but I have just recently discovered the joy of exploring the Pines. Having always resided in the more...
