Substantial ruins along Mt. Misery Road

OK, I apologize. It has been brought to my attention that I confused this for another similar one. Ben, you're right; this one is under that section of wall. From what I remember it wasn't even well hidden. I've spoken with the owner a few times. I will see if they will consider moving...

Substantial ruins along Mt. Misery Road

It shouldn't be; it was a good 2-300 feet away from anything when I was there on Easter.

The cache is quite a good distance from the ruins.

What could this person be up to

Probably a bait truck. My ex-stepdad had a van set up like that. Huge livewell in the back, took up most of the back actually. One year he asked me if I wanted to skip a day of school, and naturally I said yes. I must have been 14 or 15 then. We left around 1 or 2 AM to go to Batsto. We...

Bitten by a dog (DOG BITE PHOTO)

I'm not going to get into specifics here because there is no anonymity, but I will say I know someone who owns a dog that has attacked 14 times, two of those times being me. Despite a report being filed and animal control coming out, nothing was ever done. The dog was and is still not...

new CVS on Rt 206 (Tabernacle)

They cleared so many trees to make room for the Walgreen's, Eckerd, and RiteAid that will no doubt pop up right next to CVS.

Why can't I lose this gut?

My wife and I have made a few changes with our diets over the past year or so, some of which were already mentioned. With iced tea and soda, I always go for diet. We stay away from beef and eat more turkey, chicken, and fish. Like a parent, I sometimes have to force her (and myself sometimes...

    Whites Bog and Buckingham, 4-19-08

Those dogs are out every time I go to Buckingham. As far as I know, the ruins are not on that property, so other than being very annoying, I don't consider them a warning. I did see people leaving that building once. They looked at me for a few seconds and continued on their way. Never had...

Another movie about the Jersey Devil.

Either you triggered a filter or my email's not working right.

That'd be he. I didn't get an email. :( Not yet anyway.

Another movie about the Jersey Devil.

To be honest I don't know his name, but I used to be a somewhat regular in Aamantran (the restaurant he works at) when we felt like skipping work for a few hours on Wednesdays. He actually told me about the video maybe a year ago.

Another movie about the Jersey Devil.

I knew a guy who was working on a JD movie last year. Not sure why, but the trailer disappeared for a while. Brooksbrae is featured in it. Not sure if this has been posted before or not.

    Any Adirondacks visitors?

We camped at Lewey Lake, and my campsite there was probably my favorite ever. Depending on where you're going, I recommend looking up the ghost town of Tahawus (aka Adirondak).

Substantial ruins along Mt. Misery Road

I finally uploaded these last night and will post some here after I do all the editing and whatnot. Sorry for the long reply time. Between midterms and getting laid off this week, I've been a wreck. I almost considered getting an apartment in Winslow and selling my place a few days back.

Substantial ruins along Mt. Misery Road

Yes, haven't uploaded them yet. Looks like on the one side somebody tried to build a wooden barrier or section of wall. Not sure what it's there for.

Substantial ruins along Mt. Misery Road

From 70, I went north on Mt. Misery Road today (a way I've never gone before). It's completely dirt, but my Yaris handled it fine. About 2 miles in, maybe 500 or so feet away from the road, there is a decent-sized foundation with some pipes sticking out of the ground maybe 100 feet away from...

Pine Barrens Book/CD Signing at the Sweetwater Casino

I was glad to meet so many people from both here (long overdue, I think) and South Jersey Geocaching. Other than the whole book fiasco I had a nice day.
