It was not easy, and it took me two attempts to get there, but I made it to the Atlantic/Burlington/Camden County marker on Friday of last week. I had tried the previous Sunday, but I lacked an exact coordinate to search for and was not prepared for how dense the forest would be. Although I came close, I did not get to or find the marker.
After identifying the coordinates, I returned last Friday and approached from a different direction. I used a creek bed as much as I could before turning off into the thick stuff.
There was dense tree growth to maneuver through:
One of many spider webs I encountered.
The marker itself which I eventually stumbled upon:
A flower I found to finish the hike:
It was a difficult but rewarding trip off trail!
