Supposedly it' started north of the Cumberland Trailer park north of the Laurens Branch pond and the wind is blowing north so it should be headed for Bennetts Mill

We have a heavy haze of smoke in Atco.

Thirty minutes ago fire was 500 acres and 0 percent contained

Spotted from belleplain fire tower ten miles away

I was derailed on my way home from my annual Good Friday freshwater fishing trip. I was coming back from Port Elizabeth and couldn't turn onto Union off of 49. When I got into Vineland, all the way up near Wheat, the smoke was visible and the smell was strong. Winds were hard south all day today.

Looks mostly white or chestnut oak and pine with some leatherleaf/sheep laurel low areas. Whadda-ya say Al?

I was pretty near that area when I took the long way home through Peaslee after grocery shopping around 8:00 AM yesterday morning. No signs of fire or smoke at that time.
