Yahoo mail is going to be a "better experience"?... 
For some reason, my accountant still uses AOL mail, all her messages say something like "sent with the AOL app". I have been teasing her about that for years and she just laughs. But she often has problems opening attachments that I send and this year I tried using a variety of different formats and she couldn't open any. Then I realized it was because she was using that stupid AOL mail app. I told her how to open the attachments directly, outside of their app and then everything was fine.

Verizon shut down their e-mail quite some time ago, I had another address and didn't use Verizon much but it was my "Apple ID" address so I had to switch that to gmail. Changing Apple ID's is always a pain since it affects so many things across all Apple devices. I had forgotten until I looked it up just now, but they were actually sending people to AOL although Yahoo was apparently involved too. No thanks....
Oh no, my 87 year old mother uses Xfinity email. Here’s the transcript of an upcoming phone call I’ll have with her.
Phone rings…
“Hello.”
“It’s mom. I can’t get my email to work.”
“What’s your password?”
“I don’t know.”
“What’s your email address?”
“I don’t know.”
“Well, mom, how can I help you if you don’t know your email address or your password?”
“I’m old and I need help and now you won’t help me.”
“Okay, I’ll be over your house as soon as I finish downing a bottle of whisky.”
End phone call

I bought my mom an iPad Pro four years ago and it’s the best money I have ever spent. It’s a lot cheaper than having to pay a psychiatrist to listen to me tell him how I’m losing my mind spending 3-4 hours every week removing viruses from my mother’s windows computer from all the “free software” she downloads off the internet.

Does anybody else use Comcast (Xfinity) for their internet, land line and cable TV? If so, I’m curious what you pay each month. My bill had risen to $319 a month in February of this year, so I called and complained. Told them I was old.
I got rid of the cable box for a TV in a guest bedroom and axed something else, which brought me down to $279 a month. Buy every other month they raise the monthly charge. I just paid my August bill. It was $294.67.
Does anybody else use Comcast (Xfinity) for their internet, land line and cable TV? If so, I’m curious what you pay each month. My bill had risen to $319 a month in February of this year, so I called and complained. Told them I was old.

My bill is $113 just for the internet and my daughters pay for Hulu which is about $110 a month. So without the boxes, the phone and the Comcast TV, our bill is $223. Jessica also buys Netflix which is $15 a month making it $238.
With Comcast I doubt you will get a cheeper price unless you stream as we do and drop the phone. If you can do with a cellphone and Hulu or some other service that has the programming you want you can save.

That seems high. No comcast here, Verizon FIOS is all I can get but I pay $96 a month including all the taxes and stuff for 500/500 mbit internet. For $20 more I could get gigabit - they gave me an unsolicited free trial and I couldn't tell any difference though. My plan includes telephone but I've never used it. My cell phone is AT&T but Verizon sends me endless spam telling me how much money I could save by switching and bundling.
I pay $57/month for streaming with Sling and that is really all the TV I want or need.

So, 2 months ago, I was paying $202 for internet and cable. I told them I was thinking of going off the grid. They reduced it to something like 191. But then they said "look, if you allow us to take from your bank acc automatically, well drop you to $179. So I took it.
Bottom line, you are paying too much.
