I moved to the Pine Barrens in 1973. Route 37 in Tomsriver was only 2 lanes and Route 70 was concrete. Heritage Minerals in Manchester was much smaller at the time and most of Manchester was all woodland.
Over the years I have witnessed rapid development within Ocean County that had taken away our best hiking and fishing places. But, thankfully our Land Trust's were in place and recognized a reason to Invest and protect our forests, allowing all of us to visit these beautiful Preserved lands and protect multiple species that lived here before we did.
I'm an avid saltwater and freshwater fisherman. I catch and release.
