FINALLY!!! After trying to catch one for literally 25 years to caught my first redfin pickerel today. It's species #129 caught. Next up is the pirate Perch. Hopefully it doesn't take me as long.

I hate snakes and was thinking the cold might lower my chance of meeting one. I went fishing in early summer and found a rattle snake along the water edge. You would of thought I saw a ghost the way I ran out of there!

Keith, I was looking at the lake on google maps and it looks like the lake is surrounded by private homes. What part do you fish from shore- Holly Blvd or the other side?
