Pinelands Commission to vote on adoption of road, trail map of Wharton State Forest

"It is obvious that the Pinelands Commission is being pushed by irrational and clueless individuals" leaves no room for difference of opinion and discussion on this obviously polarizing issue but I guess we all are allowed to have opinions.

Harrisville Lake tree removal and grading

Just speculating but I believe the reason Absegami and Harrisville were not cleared for decades was due to the low threat level assessment but there number unfortunately came up after all these years.

You may want to reach out to folks like these for guidance on where its allowed (not many places) and where it is allowed what areas do best and what equipment they recommend. The beaches in North Jersey for instance the days after Superstorm Sandy were apparently a good place to be to find...

Apple Pie Fire Tower (less so now because it is only open when a fire official is present). There is...

Possible Government Shut-down may affect your weekend..

Folks currently camping at Belleplain have been advised they will need to vacate by 11am tomorrow due to this. The broad nature of the messaging leaves too many questions unanswered. State permitted livery operations...Micks, Bel Haven , etc etc...are they able to offer services (possibly no due...
