Hello, I am your average person that was exposed to the Pine Barrens region at a young age through deer hunting. I have spent countless hours sitting in tree stands watching what goes on in the woods. It has evolved into a constant desire to learn and explore. It goes hand in hand with my hobby of bushcraft. Even though I hunt, I don't consider myself part of the "orange army" that appears seasonally. I take offense to being lumped into a small group of bad eggs in the hunting community that can be found from time to time. I am usually alone and primarily hunt with bow and traditional muzzle loader. I am conservation minded and practice leave no trace.
I consider any day I come home with pine sap on my hands and clothes and pine needles down my shirt collar a good day.
I am pleased to meet like minded people while exploring the area.
