    Cedar Bridge Tavern Timeline?

That timelines is apparently exhibited inside the renovated Tavern. I'm going to try to attach a copy of the registration for the Tavern to become a historical structure. It explains after my family how Edwin Hands resided in the establishment.

    Stormy Hill?

Oh how wonderful it would be if that photo was in a book. But I highly doubt it. I have come to the conclusion we may not have been the most liked family. I say this only because I can't find any info on the Bowers family. I mean one time Jack Cervito mentions him in a book I bought from OC...

    Stormy Hill?

Funny you should say that. Because on the back it actually says mom in the background. The man is my grandfather, John Vic Bowers and his mother Verna Parks and the lady in the back is Mary Ann Parks (Verna's sister) the photo was taken by Mary Ann daughter.

    Stormy Hill?

This is very interesting! So say I were to suddenly pick up canoeing I could possibly go to this location? Y'all have got me paranoid about private property, which is a good thing especially being clueless of the area. I'm sure the structure wouldn't be there, however it would be cool to have...

    Stormy Hill?

Thanks all. On Haines property makes sense since it was where my Gr. Gr. Gr. Grandfather lived. In the pitcure I clearly see a house which if I can figure out how to upload I will. More research for me. I appreciate everyones knowledge and am so very grateful.

    Stormy Hill?

"Great times at Stormy Hill" is on a photograph I have with a few relatives I'm stumped on where this may actually be located. I know it's in the Pines for many pitcures I have are taken in the same area, but not labeled. Place, area, an actual hill? Any information would be glorious! Thank you.

Thank you for the image of the cemetery and his stone. It saddens me it has been damaged. I plan on making my own trip to visit the cemetery, hopefully soon. I did swing through to visit the Woodlawn Cemetery in august. Which is a whole story in it's self. Actually hysterical but dont want to...

I know I'm sorry. I have only started working on my genealogy 2 years ago. But I am fascinated with my Bowers side .Unfortunately tho that side was never one for talking, nor pitcure taking. I couldn't speculate as to why, but I myself am so proud to say my 3rd gr grandfather from Germany came...

Hi Guy, I know this post is from a decade ago, however I was just curious if you ever came upon pitcures/info in regards to John Bowers. I know he is listed in the census and I have read carolyns post, but I can't find any documents in regards to him actually managing either Sims or...
