In the mountains i find them in places where I find salamanders.Under wet rocks and such. Here I rarely find them but always in wet areas, under sphagnum in swamps and such.Seem to be much more prevalent in the mountains but actually flipping rocks is easier then turning moss and digging under tree roots.Probably a healthy population here as well.

I have found them out on the crawl 6 times in the pine barrens. I think they are very abundant in certain areas, especially burlington and camden county wharton. I've seen them in both very upland, and right on top of sphagnum moss. Not sure what they preference.
