DEP ANNOUNCES VIRTUAL PUBLIC MEETING TO LAUNCH WHARTON STATE FOREST VISITOR AND VEHICLE USE SURVEY

That sounds similar to the regulations for Brigantine's north end. There is a state fee for the permit to access, and it's supposedly for fishing only. The weird thing about that location, though, is the only access road is owned and managed by the City of Brigantine, not the state. The city...

DEP ANNOUNCES VIRTUAL PUBLIC MEETING TO LAUNCH WHARTON STATE FOREST VISITOR AND VEHICLE USE SURVEY

I did some of the same roads on New Year's Eve with one of the Jeep groups. We had a large number of participants as well. This particular group seemed very responsible when driving in the woods. They stayed on the roads. They also are active in organizing trash cleanups. Not surprisingly, they...

Trail map for sanctioned motorbikes in N.J.’s Pinelands moves forward, despite enviro concerns

Good article. Glad it gives a voice to enduro enthusiasts and efforts on cooperation. I didn't know enduro events had such a long history in the Pine Barrens.

    Is Hermann all but gone?

Oh, is that where LB's Lunch Box moved to? I remember them from when they were next to the River Road Clam House. Good po'boys too. I'll have to stop by again and explore the area. Sounds like some interesting stuff to see back there.

DEP ANNOUNCES VIRTUAL PUBLIC MEETING TO LAUNCH WHARTON STATE FOREST VISITOR AND VEHICLE USE SURVEY

I won't be able to attend the meeting so I'm hoping they make a recording available afterward. I didn't see mention of that anywhere, but sometimes they do that.

DEP ANNOUNCES VIRTUAL PUBLIC MEETING TO LAUNCH WHARTON STATE FOREST VISITOR AND VEHICLE USE SURVEY

I agree, that's what it sounds like. I don't think it's going to be very interactive. Sounds like the survey will be where people will be able to give input rather than this meeting.
