    Just found this thread.. I had a 1973 Yamaha 100 and 73 125 enduro new and used to ride with mt Dad in the pines in the mid 70's. wow great memories. The 73 100 was purple and 125 was blue..

    even a cab would stop at the side of the paved road and drop you off. Its still quite a few miles to the tower from the paved road from what I can tell:(

    I used to race hare scrambles in the mid 70's but was a member of district 6 in pa so I really did not get to race in the pines much but I did ride there a lot then:) Frank
