The road from the Bordentown Gun Club to Batons camp is really sandy right now. I was sure I was going to come upon someone stuck.

I have photos of the ties still intact flush with the ground. I took them about 15 or 20 years ago. I have not been back to see if they are still showing. I can check Jerseyman’s book tonight where I am sure it says when they were removed.

That appears to be the one at Dutchtown that is in my photo. I see what looks like rust by the E.
