    That doesn't look like the Harrisville I know. The ruins are many stories high and made of Ironstone. Was the building I was referring to the paper mill? When Ben gave a tour in 2005 he had a map of the area as it was. I can't find my copy.

    No Bob, it is across the street. Most of the bogs I saw which weren't flooded are loaded with then. I didn't get to your side of the road. Lots of grass in the road and nymph ticks or chiggers. Marianne was cursing all day. wear your boots.

    We went to a car show in Nesco on Sunday and discovered a wonderful local museum. As I said, local, lots of small town stuff including artifacts from Amatol. It is worth your time. We went to lunch at Bell Haven.

    The census was written by enumerators, I guess temporary employees, not the people they were interviewing. They were terrible at getting the facts straight. I do a lot of genealogical research and they have my family all messed up. On top of that very poor penmanship.

    I was geocaching back there on the west side of the bogs and it was obvious it was inhabited by the ground disturbance. The good old days. It's nice to have a name for the bridge.

    I remember driving over the wooden bridge at HF. Not only was it rickety but it was leaning precariously. The beach on the Skit there was a great wading, picnic spot until it washed out.
