Any hope the spillway will be repaired? I always hated to see the levels low like that.
All this time I thought covered bridges were to prevent the horses from being spooked by the sight of the running water below. Covering them to lengthen their life-span makes much more sense though. Great posting Jerseyman, thank you.

Thought so, thank you. I hiked back there with TomM some years ago. I recall a vacant homesite. It was beautiful back there, just can't remember the name of it.
In the 30's, right? That's some diehard fishermen right there! Admittedly, Tom M and I fished back in the day and it was so cold icicles formed on the rod tips. Back before Indian Mills lake was developed.
