West Jersey History and Map Links

No Doubt!! Awesome collection and well organized. I particularly love the Shore collections. Looking back in history at sites and events long gone, parallels the ghost towns and people of the Pines. The grandness of each Hotel one more impressive than the next. The dress, Roads, Cars, events...

That site is RELAYER on this site. Very nice seeming fellow and I have been all over that site. It is really put together well. Jerseyman's work is informative and the walk through West Jersey, and moreover Jersey Shore time via post card collections is fabulous. A must see website in my...

I pretty much just go with a small Crown Royal cloth bag. The strings make it around me waist and the bag takes care of the important stuff. Nice color of "BLUE" to fit the bill. And I'm one of the conservatives. G.

Given what I think you mean my friend yes indeed... however, in your wildest dreams you can not imagine what all you see. The good with the bad and all that. There are no standards and no stereotypes for the event so eyeballs beware! It's not all eyecandy. G.

Ice. Took a walk late this afternoon and back to a neighbor's pond right behind me. Iced over nicely. My lab blasted out onto it without a thought. Cool. Wish I had pix.

All, The Plunge for NJ special Olympics is up again and my 7th year in attendance is upon me. I am excited. I shall not solicite but I will say that I continue to feel very good about the cause that this bit of madness supports. Feb 24 I go in with hopefully a couple thousand other foolish...

    Piney Fire

Indeed, I have used many of Boyd's sunsets as wallpaper, a couple of Woodjin's, and right now one of my personal favorites, a shot by Behr of a row of trees in Rancocas nature center, an etherel and awesome depiction that gets many a look. The most amazing thing as the disbelief of people...

    Burlington County Insane Asylum?

While being on the frayed edges, or maybe not considered the Barrens at all, Ancora and it's created community has a rich, fascinating, and somewhat disturbing history/background. Check it out Snoopy. G.

    X-Files

Not being an X-files junkie but liking a few episodes along the way and having critiqued this one in the past ... Kinda easy to Google X-files stuff. I find that as the fifth or so episode in season one, part may have still been filmed in Vancouver and the balance on location ( give or take...

Haddonfield - after the great flood?

A South Jersey & Jersey Pines character trait... some piece of crap broken down boat for sale on any given corner or every so many houses along the way. Heck if the worst happens, maybe they'll all find homes. Or be homes. G.

favorite places to eat and imbibe in the pines

I'd say that's pushing it.... but in terms of low class, right up there. Nugget's got it's share of teeth laying on the floor. Pic II is an interesting little place but just not quite the same. More like a sports bar. Too many imature little chickies there too. g.

favorite places to eat and imbibe in the pines

Gotta love a thread that references best places to eat in the pines which does infact include a selection of good establishments and the recurring place continues to be something of a dirtfloor hole in the wall and some other hick bars. Sort of enforces to the average reader the intellect and...

favorite places to eat and imbibe in the pines

You know, As I wasn't present for that one I couldn't remember if You and Kerry were present. I knew Joe was as it was his truck. And yes, I recall Stell being pissed. I went over the next morning thinking it was to be a large cow and saw it was just a little calf. And yes, I thought on it...

favorite places to eat and imbibe in the pines

Pic I do not recall the goat but do recall different times at the pic. There was a time when the "Smokers" wings were just this side of deadly. The proprietor was a customer of mine back then and shared with us guys some jars of the "secret" ingredient that heated up the sauce. Bad stuff...
