My 1991 1-ton work truck had 190 HP and got 9 miles to the gallon. My 2015 1-ton work truck has 385 HP and also gets 9 miles to the gallon. Considering my 1991 truck did everything I asked it to do with less than half the horsepower, I wish I had the option of a 190 HP truck that got 18 mpg.

My neighbor used to spend her summers in Medford Lakes. The family lived in Philadelphia but had a summer cabin along one of the lakes. She is in her 50s and believes her family was one of the last to own a "shore house" in Medford Lakes.

My friend is a buisness administrator of a rural town. He said the state is sending mixed messages regarding outdoor recreation. They asked him to shut down his municipal parks yet they are allowing people to fish on state park lakes. I am a fisherman but I can understand his point.
