    April Blooms

Wow, your the man! Thank you. I will add descriptions later. The second one is only a few inches tall and there are lots of them so I don't thinks it is red maple. I will try to post a context/leaf picture of that.

    April Blooms

What a great day yesterday was. Eye catching flashes of color in the grass revealed these tiny flowering plants. Any help on identifying these would be fantastic. Wild Blooms

    Texas Hill Country

Great town. One of my college room mates is from there. I have been out there too many times to count. If you go again, try to make it out to Lake Travis and have a drink at The Oasis and watch sunset over the lake. It can be touristy but great views.

    Sunset over the Pygmy Pines

Nice photos, but damn those telephone poles. (Shakes fist at sky while happily typing away using the internet they bring... conflicted feeling there.)

    Stafford Forge Target Range Clean-up

I stopped by the shotgun range to clean up the archery area today. Then I wandered over the the shotgun range. Besides less shells, it was as if the shotgun area was never cleaned at all. I filled two garbage bags full of empty cardboard ammo boxes. If I had more bags, I could have filled up more...

    Tick today

I have had full ticks (bloated with blood) on my dogs that have exploded when trying to get off. This scoop on these tweezers avoids that or lets you examine it to see what kind it is with the magnifying glass. I "Frontline" my dogs but they are still susceptible on their face, where I found one...

    Sunset over the Pygmy Pines

Sunset on Friday. I think I was seeing sun dogs for a few moments, which you can see in the 5th picture. After the rain passed there was a surprise. I was in such awe I could not hold the camera still. Yeah I need a wide angle... soon. Sunset over the Pygmy Pines
