Locations of Wharton Environmentally Sensitive Areas (ESAs)

Hi all, I wanted to start to collect the locations of all the newly closed ESAs so I can ultimately create a map of them for folks to reference. Here is what has been observed so far: Hampton Gate/High Crossing Rd...

ORV Management In Sensitive Areas Of Wharton

I've been in contact with the DEP over the last couple days seeking clarification of what is going on and I've been asked to try to get information out there about the facts. I'm due to have a follow up phone call where I'll probably have more, but I thought I would at least relay what I've...

So all and all, it sounds like what will be a reasonable and effective plan.

    Snow on the Skit Branch

File this one under "you miss 100% of the shots you don't take". I was facing my normal hustle and bustle this AM getting the kids off to school and getting ready for work, but I took one look at that snow and I knew i needed to get out and I knew just the place to go. I have been meaning to...

FIRE CREWS BATTLING FOREST FIRE IN BURLINGTON COUNTY

This was mentioned in the Pinelands Commision meeting. Apparently a few boards gave way in the dam. Should be fixed quickly though because it is a water source for the firefighters.

    Anyone catch the moonbow tonight?

It looks like it was actually a Moon Ring, vs a Moonbow. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/22°_halo .....And a Snow Moon at the same time! :)

    Anyone catch the moonbow tonight?

It was massive. I tried to get the trees and a part of the house for scale, but it still doesn't do it justice...

    Missing person in Pines

I have also thought it was kind of odd that there has been no real official updates or additional info on this case. I wonder why? His path seems curious too. From Manayunk, to the Shoprite in Bridgeton, to Green Bank.

    Robins

My wife and were just talking about this. They have been everywhere here too the last couple weeks. I don't recall ever seeing this many at the same time.

    "Haunted" Carranza Memorial

Scott, I went to youtube and listened to the spitfire's rendition of "raccoon fight". You weren't kidding! I litterally laughed out loud to the thought of them hearing that in the pitch black at Carranza. :) Barry, if you do this, you should make sure your friends bring extra under garments...

    "Haunted" Carranza Memorial

You might get varying answers here, but I would say rule numero uno would be not to put anything on/attach anything to the monument itself. Rather than trying to arrange something on a zipline or whatever, you might be better off coordinating with a friend to be out there before you get there...

Apple opposes Judge's order to unlock shooter's phone

BTW- just to be clear, I don't give a hoot about the privacy of this vile, disgusting animal. My argument is creating the capability to violate his privacy could very well lead to the violation of everyone's privacy. Now that is just my personal opinion and they are like, well, you know. ;-)

Apple opposes Judge's order to unlock shooter's phone

Oh and by the way, I totally agree on your assessment of Tim Cook. He is not to be trusted nor is he a hero in this, it just so happens that, in this case, a corporate objective coincidentally happens to align with the best interests of the little guy.
