Yes, the swimming beach was up at 206 in the SE corner. I remember swimming there in 1966.

    Atsion: Old and Renewed

Don, would you please post the whole map at a higher resolution? It is not of sufficient resolution for me to read. The map looks like a great piece of work. Once I saw 206 and Atsion Lake, all fell into place, just can't read it. Guy, Al, I always have my GPS set to north up, otherwise I...

What was the date of the Batsto complaint in post 87?

    Lock's Bridge

I think it maybe the dimension of time layered over the locations. The time between the Batsto complaint in post 87 and the original Estelle Mill. Also the use of the word "lock". A lock to me meant a way to raise or lower a boat between two different levels of water, but I got the impression...

    Lock's Bridge

I am following this closely Gabe, but am getting (have been) confused as to what lock, dam, forge, furnace was where. The fact that some seem to have had different names over time doesn't help. For the sake of this thread was Estell's lock-dam located here...

    Ticks explode

I don't think we had citronella back in the 50's when I played with them. They were just some brown stuff on a stick that just glowed with a nice sent. Fun to swing around and write a message.

    Black Caterpillars Eating Oak

First time I saw these guys near not so High Crossing this morning. What impressed me was how they all packed together. Further on I saw some crossing the trail head to butt, single file. Who are they.

    Tuckerton Road Work

High Crossing got a lot lower today as the loaders used it as fill to level the area. The holes south of the tracks are filled with water again.

    marlton windmill

I remember Matlack's as a kid and later when dating. Very convenient with the submarine races up the street at Strawbridge Lake, Was holly Ravine the Cowtail Bar? That was way out in the woods back in the 60's.

    Tuckerton Road Work

Yes, they were working on Memorial Day. They made it to High Crossing this morning, filling in the holes north of the tracks. The south holes have been smoothed out and are quite passable.
