Do you live in a redneck town

I see more camo pick up trucks around here with rebel flag bumper stickers and plates then I do when I head down south. We also have a good share of snuff dippers as well. I have cousins that make me look down right citified.Of course true hillbilly blood flows in their veins so that may have...

Do you live in a redneck town

Millbillies would argue that Millville is much more redneck then Vineland or at least it used to be.Of course Millville can't even hold a candle to Laurel Lake,Belleplain or virtually any place in Maurice River,Downe or Commercial townships. My wife just chewed me out today for leaving the house...

    Spotted Camels

My oldest step daughter is scared to death of crickets, especially camels. We used to live in a trailer that had hundreds of them underneath of it.They occasionally found their way into the trailer. She is not afraid of spiders that can actually bite you but is terrified of crickets.makes no sense.

8 creepiest places in U.S. national parks

I"ve been to both battlefield sites and all over the Barrens at day and night and the only devil I"ve seen so far is when I look in the mirror at 11 PM knowing I have to go in to work all night when everyone else gets to sleep. A true jersey Devil

    Dirty Rotten Survival

I didn't hear the guys mention it on the show.I thought it was odd that the barrens were the setting and someone didn't bring up Mrs. Leeds thirteenth son or whatever the hell the nonsense was.

    Dirty Rotten Survival

I wrote Dave Canterbury. Told him that he shoulda turned right off the tracks to get to the tower which is north of the tracks. He turned left??? Why cross a spung when you could have walked up a driveable sand road from Pine Crest? I basically told him that I could see Hollywood showmanship all...

    Chiggers

Problem with winter ticks is when they go in they don't stop till they get to their butt hole. They have to be dug out whereas a summer tick can be pulled out with only it's mouth parts embedded.I used to say no ticks below 50 degrees but your right, last year I got one at 45 degrees.

    Chiggers

I have never got them past October 15th as well regardless of frost or no.Thats my date as well but as Boyd said they have no calendar and we haven't really had any cold nights till a couple nights ago it hit 35 down here. That may have did it.I got a few chiggers a week ago but only a few and i...

    Early This Morning Exploring

I think the one He took shown here may have been the one east of skit branch and south of the road next to the big ditch.I raked and stabbed that area very well and there was nothing.Did find what seemed to be the remains of a hole but very shallow and could have been a stump hole. Let me know...

    Spring is here

Is it an artesian bubbler or is it a swamp seep that has a high flow right now but will disappear with a receding water table.I do love springs.Found one on the flank of Spring Hill a few years back but it was in winter.Never went back in summer to see if it's perennial.

    Resuming Rockwood

I have found more then a few stones and monuments by stepping on them:-),Tripping over them, smacking my knee on them:-) I also learned to pick locks in my 20's.Made my own picks and tension wrenches after buying a set and thinking I can make this! I mainly just picked gate locks on state...
