Exploring the Lost Lake at Colliers Mills

Ben That looks like an old road that passes to the north of it or at least an old dune/island that may have an old road following it.I have only been in that area once and I basically drove back to Success lake and that was it.A little north of my normal wanderings.

    Swimming in clay/sand mines...

Blue holes start out sterile because they are land locked pristine spring water to start out.Once abandoned fish come in as eggs stuck to wading birds legs, mostly ducks and such.Vegetation falls into the water to start a food base along with insects for smaller fish and larger insects and after...

skinks are more secretive then fence lizards which are visible everywhere running up trees as you approach.Skinks are usually found under boards and such where it is moister. If scared they seem to run under things more so then up things like fence lizards.Ground skinks are similar to five lines...

Tree Cutting on Quaker Bridge Rd.

the damselfly seems to be a young female citrine forktail Ischnura hastata. seen from april till november in sphagnum swamps, sedge marshes and vernal ponds. Can be abundant but not readily noticed due it's habit of perching inconspicuously among tangles of thick vegetation.

Tree Cutting on Quaker Bridge Rd.

Dumb ass is spot on and I'm sure the state will be sued for not having someone to babysit the renegade swimmers. If it wasn't for the sue happy mentality the area would not be a no swimming area anyway. If we ever start taking personal responsibility for our own actions there would be a lot less...
