    New Comet Discovered

thanks Whip.I was aware of the one coming this fall but not this one in march. They claim it comes from the Oort cloud but to my knowledge the Oort cloud has never been observed or otherwise proven but so far is just a cometary figment of the scientific imagination.

    Google Earth Aerials

If they can get the closest zoom levels as clear as the rest of the levels I would be satisfied, now one more zoom wouldn't hurt of course unless you happen to be answering the call of nature in the woods at the moment they snap the picture:-)

    Sugarloaf Mountain

Yes it's probably just a geological formation but it comes off like it's been squared.Don't find many straight lines or perfect 90 degree angles in nature except in rock crystals, perhaps those minute crystals are whats behind this in the long run.

    Sugarloaf Mountain

two perfectly straight lines with a 90 degree bend said man made to me and a large glacial bite out of the north face.Perhaps I'm wrong,I'm sure what appear to be the remains of walls to me are probably huge but such an odd shape for a mountain summit

    Sugarloaf Mountain

Nice! He has a stitching error on his nadir and that is supposed to disqualify it for 360 pano so this guy must have forked up the bucks.I had a very hard time making my panos perfect so that 360 would accept them and still they would not upload.Money covers a multitude of sins!

    Sugarloaf Mountain

No. Going to scope it out now.I gave up trying to put my panos on 360.They wouldn't come out and say you had to buy the paid version but whenever I tried to upload one there it would go for hours and never finish and when searching help they said they take pay customers first and non paying...

    Sugarloaf Mountain

I have been Google Earthing my dream trip again and happened to notice an unusual featur. It appears that the top of Sugarloaf Mountain had some huge man made structure on it at one time and when the glaciers swiped away part of the mountains they also took part of the structure.I have attached a...
