    Groundhogs?

A foot! I don't know about that. I'm used to measuring things, and that can't be a foot. If it is, I'll be very surprised. Maybe 8".

Maybe the snake boys on here will suggest a pinesnake den.

    Music for the day

My stepdad loved Frankie Laine, and I heard so much of him, I grew to like him a lot even though he was an eye-talian. His father cut Al Capones hair for God's sake, in "Little Italy" in Chicago. He did "High Noon" on one of his albums. But the version I really like is on my CD: "The greatest...

    Music for the day

Yeah, I'm going to have to explore how I determine what I've already posted for songs. I'll then have a list so I don't do them twice, or even thrice.

My heart throb, performing a short one of this classic.

Garmin discontinues the Oregon series and some others

I'll try something more simple. I'll let the gps automatically assign a number to the waypoint (which I usually never do), and then use my phones voice recorder to fill in the narrative after citing the number. But then I have to modify my basecamp waypoints to at least give some info on the map...

Double your fun with map sync!

I did not notice the post above. Yes, I cleared the cache and tried it. Perfect. Leaving the mouse pointer on the map menu and simply pressing the next one up to see what changes is an enormous advantage. Thanks Boyd. :)

Garmin discontinues the Oregon series and some others

I would have thought by now that the montana would have the one thing I always wished it had; the ability to fill out the information for the waypoint using my voice. I'm dissapointed.

Turkey Running Around A Cemetery Stone

All they gotta do is cover it with a bag or cardboard and he'll lose interest. Notice that he looks at it during each turn.

    Artificial Intelligence

I had a spat with a fellow in the comments forum below a WSJ article about Amazon laying off thousands because they are installing robots in a couple locations. This fellow said: Meh, dead wood being replaced by AI. The buggy whip makers want their (jobs) back. Innovate or perish. I can...

The Historical Forks, A PBX Hike

Interesting that the big Island at the Forks is actually quite open after you get past the tight ring of trees and vegetation on the margin. Why, I'm thinking of building a cabin in there.

Ron, I read that, which part do you mean, this one: "once you get the smell of the Mullica up your nose, all other smells stink".

    Artificial Intelligence

I simply cannot imagine risking losing my job over an expense report fraud. Some people deserve to be fired.

    Artificial Intelligence

If the robots grow my vegetables instead of me, I'm in. The comment about the world being "free from the drudgery of work" only applies (I think) to very weathy people who can purchase robots along with the power and maintenance needed.

Double your fun with map sync!

Boyd, I noticed something today when using split screen view that is different than when viewing a single map. I would not bring it up, but it slows down my map analysis in split view. Say I have it up, and I want to see what happens to the land over the years, which is something I like to do...
