    Fruitland Monuments

Guy, remember the day you, me and Jess investigated that light bulb on the 95 aerial? I remember something happened to Jess that day. It was tough going in there. Tough as hell.

    Let's Talk about the PPA

Certainly does not make the actions they do okay Guy. And, if you don't stop it now, it will get worse and worse. The jeep clubs will get larger, the tires will get larger, and the playground will expand exponentially. PS: I am an environmentalist at heart. If we don't play our harp once in...

    You certainly did Guy!

    Where is this?

A clue for the last club photo: "Old Mr. Britton knew one way to get from Webb's Mill to the Railroad station at Wheatland, but that road was often severely rutted."

    Severe Thunderstorm Watch

What do you put on those chops? I love pork chops but once in a while they have boar taint. Ever here of that? When I complain to the guy at the meat counter they say they never heard of it.

    Lower Forge-High Crossing Road

Is it really that far out in the woods Maggie (lower forge high crossing road)? That is surprising. I didn't think local teens would go out that far, risking a ranger visit, however scarce that may be. Usually they are closer to the towns they live in. Yes, they do that on Forked River...

    Spring is here

Was also at Mount Misery Brook on 19 September, and this little baby was steaming full speed ahead, in all its glory.

    Spring is here

By the way, I was at this same location at the height of our recent drought, but did not notice the side spring. Nevertheless, look at the flow on this stream on 5 August of this year. I am lucky to see such beauty quite often while exploring. Also, if you back up 100 yards or so from this very...

    Spring is here

This is a seep at the base of a slope that will never totally disappear, probably just ramped up due to the recent rain. In that respect, I think it is also somewhat artesian, since it is just the place that the pressure underneath has found relief.

    Where is this?

I thought this one would be very recognizable and easy to many people. I'll give it a day or so for others to chime in.

    Where is this?

How about at a different (perhaps more familiar) angle.

    Where is this?

That is at the end of Mount Misery road, correct? If that's correct, then no, that is not it.

    Spring is here

Found quite a spring near the Oswego River today. Must be due to the rains. A real gusher.

Minimal Water Level to Paddle Rivers

If the weather is 70 and sunny, go for it.

    Where is this?

Yes. By the way, do you know what's up there? At first I thought it was a series of failed bogs, but then realized it being a dry area, some sort of tree project?

Don't mean to drive anyone crazy, but where is this?

SoJourn: Journal of South Jersey History & Culture

Interesting, and needed. I wish them success.

    Drought conditions

I put a 4X4 piece of plywood on top of two saw horses, and put the generator under that.

    Drought conditions

But absolutely no way for the exhaust fumes to enter your house, right? I had to ask, for safety's sake.
