    Leeds Point shot

From Jersey Genesis by Beck:....."The Leeds Devil..like a giant bird of prey, is seen to hover above some silent, star-bespangled pond within the umbrous recess of a cedar swamp"

Burlington County cranberries still a top crop

Yeah, something wrong there. Maybe restate it to say; of the 3 main producers of cranberries in the US, N.J. accounts for 65% of the crop.

    Pine Barren History Shorts

I like how they wrote descriptions back then. Think if they did so today: "Land for sale. Laid off in lots starting at the road corner where Guy Thompson lives..."

The "Flaming Plains", A PBX Hike

Here is a very unusual photo from Google Earth, no? Is this some sort of time warp, or foreshadowing? Edit: it is actually one month after the fire. I was looking at the copyright. It's May 2019. Cool.

Guy, this photo behind Coyle field shows how massive your mustache has become. Like I told you, just let it go, and it will flourish.

    Fall/Winter Stone Searching 2019/2020

Tom, Al, I really did not realize Old Half Way was the clay pits. I thought that Old Half Way was southeast of the pits a mile or so. When were they dug out? In the 1930's it looks like bare ground. Wasn't there a travelers rest stop there in the 19th century?

The frog ponds, he can't be referencing the clay pits, right? I note the name Sykes. The naming of that stream then goes way back.

The "Flaming Plains", A PBX Hike

Great group photos Guy and Scott. One of these days I'll have to collect them all into a kind of digital album.

The "Flaming Plains", A PBX Hike

Interesting heart monitor. It would be nice to be able to determine recovery rate each time she stopped for a couple minutes. That is the real test.

The "Flaming Plains", A PBX Hike

A nice fall day. Crossing a wildfire area in the same year that it happened--how could we not do this? We probably did about the same miles as we did at the 2007 fire explore. The consensus was about 9 for the day.

    Paranormal experiences in the pines

Myself and Guy looked for him several times. It is wicked dense in there. A wildfire sweeping through there may reveal something.
