    Beware, new firearm law's signed

It is true you have to walk a very fine line. I think it may be the timing of when you posted your caution that may have caused some alarm in Jon's mind. Pro-gun posters should consider that a lot of members take the opposing view, so they don't take kindly to initial posts that may seem...

    RAIN?

I really think we should start calling the period from mid-April to early June the "wet season", or perhaps "moody monsoon time". This has really been a fundamental shift in our local weather pattern in my experience. This seems to have started about 8-10 years ago (only going on memory).

    Widow

Going on memory (and using the opening in the plastic thing), it had to be about 5/8-3/4 inch long. I was surprised at it's size. I always thought they were a lot smaller.

Here’s trouble. Found in my garage. And I carried this plastic thing and washed it out before I saw it.

    Pine Pollen

I do agree. I think the worst of the pine is over. By the way, pine pollen is heavier than most, causing it to not stay adrift as long.

    Pine Pollen

This is the male cone, which releases the pollen from the scales shown at the arrow (I pulled these off the main cone). Quite a lot of pollen from each of these. All I did was tap it a couple times and that load to the right fell out. These pollen grains end up being blown to the female cones...

    Pine Pollen

Although it drizzled here most of the morning, it tapered off this afternoon, and a windy front came in. Back out came the pollen. It only takes a little wind to dry it.
