Is that Chatsworth Doug? As to the size of the photos, I'm not sure. I never post the actual photos. I post a PNG file of the photo I make using the Microsoft snipping tool. If I ever use JPG, I reduce the size down to approximately 1,000 X 800 PXL.

He was right here, on his merry way to Spring Hill. He had great ambitions, but that road is really horrible right now. It was even worse on the way to get him (by the old cabin lake).

I got him out. I brought a 10 pound sledge and shovel with me. Had to chop out the ice in back of his vehicle. The ice was about 5" thick. I used shingles under my tires. Tom (oji) was standing by on the Red road just in case.

I am in contact with Doug, and am preparing to go out there. I don't have a winch, so it will be dicey. If anyone else is going to call and help let me know. I'll check this post right before I leave.

Those numbers are really pathetic. It's not so much how wrong the weatherman was, it's more how the media hyped it up to such a fever pitch. But, I do see the Mt. Holly weatherman apologized. I accept, I accept! I hate shoveling anymore.

To be fair to the weathermen, it is still snowing in Bamber. If I get a lot more than the 3 inches I got last night I'll have to eat my snow in shame.

This is crazy. Why such late news on this? I'm either enjoying retirement too much and forgetting what day it is, or they seriously missed the boat on this.
