    Wilderness Camping

    Many times I have stealth camped in the pines and never been bothered. If you go in the winter in a section that is at least a mile from a road in any direction there is not a ranger alive that is going to spend his energy getting to you. Sean:)

    Thanks BEH. I am planning on doing this in the winter to avoid just the sort of thing your talking about! I went moutain biking a couple of days ago and there were ticks everywhere! No bushwacking for me until the temp drops below 40! BTW...what is a savanna? Sean :ninja:
