Correct. Because "Wild"fires are bad, but controlled fires are good. A forest on fire under the right condition are understandably a welcome occurrence.

Camden County gets $19M toward building 34-mile trail starting at Ben Franklin Bridge

This is wrong in so many ways. I can't believe it is even a thing... Without mentioning the obvious how are they even allowed to cone into the lower end of the county and build, pave, and destroy wetlands, habitat, and invade a WMA appropriated for sportsman and such? Not to mention the making...

Drinking water source for South Jersey grows from Green Acres purchase

Meanwhile, back in Camden County, they get awarded 19 million dollars to do just the opposite and destroy habitat, cedar swamps, wetlands, forest, and already preserved land and a WMA to put a bike and walking trail from Camden down to the Atlantic County line in Winslow. GTFO...:argh:

    RAIN?

This past week's rain had no effect on the drought. It just gave a false sense of improvement on conditions.

    Packs of them

Now Camden County has the bright idea of building a walking/ bike trail from one side of the county to the other directly through the Winslow WMA. All this will do is be a super highway for ATVs and ORV to get to the down to the areas of heavy use and damage that already cant be controlled...

    Fire Ecology in the Pines

It's not up to the Forest Fire Service for exact forest management, its up to the state foresters. The FFS may choose to burn certain areas they feel a need or has a higher priority for one reason or another. But ultimately it's uo to the tree folks I would assume...

Crews Battling Wildfire Along Mullica River in South Jersey’s Wharton State Forest

Understandably so. I was affected too, but the power of conversation and getting real facts is an amazing thing. Everyday speculation and made up nonsense runs wild and ends up getting twisted into ridiculous notions. People should try going to a source of the unexplained more...

If you want to start that conversation you better have some better reasoning and factual statements on the issue. I'm not going to waste my time arguing over who is right and who is wrong. I can already picture your argument meerly on I pay taxes and their my roads blah blah blah... Yes, there...

Crews Battling Wildfire Along Mullica River in South Jersey’s Wharton State Forest

I don't care about it being closed. It has no effect on me and I'm not crying about it. If I wanted to access the area I'd just go a different direction. I can except things that are unlike some people who feel entitled because they pay taxes. Here's a shock, we all pay taxes and that's life. I...

And did it work? Just use the other road, it goes to the same place. A dead end.

Your probably correct. With that said, your also right with "a few". It's only a few that complain and why nothing is going to change from the status. Rockwood can be used to get to the dead end at the bridge just the same. Maybe more people should push for a new bridge instead. ‍♂:bang:

Crews Battling Wildfire Along Mullica River in South Jersey’s Wharton State Forest

Its no different than a town, county, or state road. The owner is the owner, I can't understand why people keep beating a dead horse...

From what I understand is, the state has full access for whatever reason they may need any place anytime. Like for this wildfire...

There is nothing to be done. The town owns the road and the cg owner has lease rights to it. End of story...
