Does anyone know, is there a map of the Batona with mile markers? Or some kind of digital version marked with GPS coordinates? I feel like something like this must exist.

    Shortleaf Pines

Are there forests in the Pine Barrens (or elsewhere in South Jersey) that are primarily Shortleaf Pine? I'm sure I see them all the time mixed in with the Pitch Pines, but I have a hard time telling the difference.

Types of Pine Trees at Maurice River Bluffs Preserve

Does anyone know what type of pine tree is in the parking lot of the Maurice River Bluffs Preserve? It's a really nice grove which looks like it was planted. They don't look like pitch pines to me, the trunks are too straight. Could it be Loblolly? Something else? Pretty OK photo attached.

    Walker's Forge

Wondering if anyone has been to the Walker's Forge area recently. I live about a mile away, but I've never actually been into the woods over there. I'm fairly certain it's all private property, but I was taking a look at the Estell Manor tax maps and saw that there's something labelled...
