Smoke was noticeable at my house 5:40 this morning. I thought it was a remnant of some other fire. Very scary stuff. The first time I have been really concerned about living 100 feet from the edge of Wharton. Winds are east now which should keep it away from me.

A small stretch of muddy water was boiling with small fish near Hampton Road but it was so muddy you couldn't see the fish. That is where I found the dead Banded Sunfish.
