The line runs parallel with Route 40, mostly on open farmland through Upper Pittsgrove, Woodstown, Pilesgrove, Mannington and Pennsville.
“One thing we’re really trying to be careful of as we move forward is how these lines will impact farmers that operate around these lines,” said Coan. “We want to minimize the impact to farmers, and we’d be scheduling our construction around their growing seasons.”
