I read this a few weeks ago. This hits close to home literally and figuratively. I was a volunteer in a neighboring town for years. During my time we went from 3 companies to one department in an effort to combat the same problem. It’s crazy the requirements to be a volunteer. Not only the training but even recertifications each year.
