A few more Friendship Bog stones

We spent a short while this morning at Friendship Bogs searching for the remaining property stones, and found two of them along with one missing. One of them we had to dig to view it. They most likely were last visited in 1982 when that portion of the property was purchased by the state, and the traditional yellow paint is still on them.

I'm glad you were not my neighbor in the 18th century when people often buried jars of coins in their backyards. You'd of sniffed it out.
