I have just added another "Then and Now" photo to my gallery so you may want to check it out.

Let me explain it. The photo on the right was taken by a friend of mine in 1977 out of the window of my Land Cruiser as we drove by the Jenkins Chapel on 563. It shows the sign that was there at the time informing travelers the name of the church.
I visited there today and took the photo on the left of what I thought was the remains of the sign post so that I could make the above Then and Now Photo. But after arriving home and looking over the two photo carefully, I could see that they were not one in the same.
So I can assume that the remains of the sign post that is there now was a replacement for the original sign in the photo on the right. That shows my age because the sign post on the left which is newer than the one on the right looks as if it has been there forever, which obviously it has not.
