A view from an Airship

I took the photo in the link below from the Navy airship today. We were flying over Manchester Township in this shot.

There was a bit wind, but believe it or not they told us that was a good thing. Our trip was perfect in terms of the wind and weather. The thing that affected the flight was when heat from the ground pushed us up nose first as the airship floated into the column, and then down as it passed threw on the other side.

The noise was not too bad. We had headsets, which killed most of it, but even without them it was tolerable. Those big old fans on either side did make some noise though, haha.

It was a great day. It was something I can mark off my bucket list.
