Now, both have launched efforts to try to get Internet map services to remove or blur images of sensitive sites, saying the same technology that allows people to see a neighbor's swimming pool can be used by terrorists to chose targets and plan attacks.

How about addressing causality? But that would be like asking quantum physicists to address infinity...

Terrorists can also be the ones that use it for control. It's a growth industry.

I think they're right: hi-res aerial imagery definitely compromises security. But they're not getting that genie back in the bottle. I don't care how many rules they make.
