Spent an exceedingly interesting day in the Pines today. A Philadelphia Botanical Club outing, most ably led by Joel Fry and Bill Cahill, abetted by Old Town Hunter, Mark Szutarski, Bill Bolger, visited the areas John Bartram used in his collecting of plants and seeds back in the mid to late 1700’s. Included were walks along the Keith line and seeing a “O” and “B” marker on it, stopping at Cedar Bridge tavern, walking a trail at the edge of the Warren Grove Bombing Range, etc. Botany and history was fascinating......
