Based on Manumuskin's urging, I started to explore the Tulp. I am including a screen shot of Boyd's Lidar map, showing where I parked and where I hiked in from Hawkins Lowland Rd, in case MM or someone has suggestions as to other access routes. I drove no further based on the "scratch the paint" factor. I am going to try and hike in from the other side (Hawkins Bridge Rd) in the coming weeks. The water seemed low to me, with a lot of mud showing. Not sure if that is how it always looks. Not crazy about these shots, but they're a start.
