5/25/12 ---about 6:43PM, while looking out window - area of Fries Mill Rd and Glassboro Crosskeys Rd, Twp of Washington, saw big bird flying East to West, about 50' high. Had to grab for my eyeglasses, and missed some details.
Bird was combination of brown and tan-(impression of barred plumage.)
Size was about right for Eagle or Heron. I noted there were no small birds in pursuit, and am guessing it was some sort of Heron.Could not see legs or feet -possibly due to angle.
Gait was slow, measured: powerful wing flaps, no apparent soaring.
Bird was in sight for brief time only- but I THINK I've seen a similar bird-flying the other way-some mornings.
