Just got back from a job in Margate.
Hawkin' pretty good down there and the water was up into the main road (563) this morning.
They're expecting that again at high tide tonight.

The coastal flood warning has been extended until noon tomorrow. 7-7.5 feet MLLW. I read that a very large cruise ship got beat up pretty good, turned around and headed back to Bayonne.

The tide was the highest I've ever seen at the Atlantic Highlands marina this morning when I boarded the ferry. It was quite an unpleasant ride into New York.

RT36 is closed in both directions along the ocean from Highlands to Monmouth Beach. Another high tide around 7-8 in the morning.

Sea Isle flooded badly on Monday morning. Many streets were impassable. Moved the cars to higher ground Monday night in anticipation of predicted worse flooding on Tuesday morning. Got up Tuesday morning and discovered the high tide was nowhere near breaching the bulkheads. Very happy the weather prediction was wrong. :)
