Kristen and I will be doing this BioBlitz.
Kristen would like to do the fundraising option, (she's 8). If anyone is interested in pledging a "per species identified pledge" to go toward the management of this property, please email me at
fiddlinblues@yahoo.com
Thanks!
Renee
24-hour BioBlitz at the NEW Oswego River Preserve
Date: September 5-6, 2003
Time: 5:00 p.m. September 5th to 5:00 p.m. September 6th
Location: Oswego River Preserve, Bass River & Woodland Townships, Burlington County
Scientists, amateur naturalists and interested learners are invited to join us for a 24-hour BioBlitz and fundraiser at our newest preserve. The 585-acre Oswego River Preserve protects a good portion of the headwaters for the Oswego River, as well as large areas of Atlantic white cedar and hardwood swamps, pitch pine plains, pitch pine reedgrass savannas and a small pond. Participants will help identify all the species they can in a twenty-four hour period and have the option of obtaining per-species pledges to raise money for the management of this preserve
