Finally! I scanned and uploaded some of my postal cards and things I have relating to Bodie, California and Goldfield, Nevada (famous old ghost towns). I also scanned and uploaded a picture of my great-grandmother from around the time when she was postmaster at Goldfield, along with a news article about her appointment to the job in 1945. A couple of the postcard scans are very large files and show up nicely at that large size.
Check it out. The gallery has 11 images in it, and it's at my Webshots site: http://community.webshots.com/user/dbarryc63 I have a few other small galleries there that you may find interesting too.
Thanks,
Barry

Guy,
That's really cool! It never ocurred to me that there might be stamps or covers for Carranza. I like that one. Thanks for showing it to us.
I'm really trying hard to find covers with cancels on them from our ghost towns. They are just so hard to find. So far it's just the Pleasant Mills and Pasadena covers that I have.

The man who was selling it told me it was from his own personal collection, and he asked me why I was interested in it. I had no problems explaining that one!
