I walked up on this in an open pine grove yesterday. I looked around like, who put this here? No other bones. Looks like a 10 pointer. I don't know how common that is in our Pine Barrens.

What a great find. I doubt any person would put it there/leave it there. A coyote may have carried the head away from the rest of the carcass. Looking at the green on it and seeing the antlers attached to the skull tells me it has been outside for a while. Probably shot during deer season and died without being found.
