Carranza Memorial

Anyone going to the memorial today at 1pm? I'm going to try, but right now its not looking to good. Always wanted to attend this, hopefully I'll get there this year.

No. Broke my glasses and have to get new ones. Bring something to drink with you. Every time I have been there it was hot and I wished I had something.

I always find it interesting to walk up and down the road looking at the various license plates. At least when we have been there it appeared some were possibly diplomat tags. And park where you can easily leave if you want to go. The cars from NY always seem to block the road. I am not sure how well it is attended anymore by outside individuals, so you may not find any of this to be true.

I was there last summer, do bring water as Guy said, one of the honor guards had to be taken to an air conditioned car as she got very lightheaded from standing at attention during the ceremony.

At the ceremony two years ago were the relatives of Carranza, consulate officials of Mexico from Philly And New York.
