The word is getting around. I received an email from a woman I know asking about it. She received an email from a woman in Lacey township asking her to oppose it.

Interesting the party affiliation of the sponsor. A person can recuse themselves if they feel their vote would be a conflict of interest, or be asked/forced to recuse themselves by other members. The current forced recusal gives them no say at all in the procedings. If it is good enough for the legal system...

So....now you can vote no matter your affiliation. That is unless you think it might be a conflict of interests .....or you're called out on it:confused:

Any time there's a move to water down restrictions on conflict of interest you can bet its an attempt to get things done that shouldn't be done.
We called our representatives' and senator's office today and expressed our strong request for them to vote NO.
